Foothills Regional Victim Services offers crisis intervention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the goal of alleviating trauma and reducing the length of its impact. We also act as a referral service, providing appropriate information and direction to service providers that victims of crime and trauma may require.
Essentially, when the police are called in response to a crime, crisis or emergency, Victim Services will also be called to provide support, information and assistance. We also respond to calls for assistance from EMS, Fire and Hospital personnel. As well we provide Debriefings and Critical Stress Incident Management. (CISM) |
