| Foothills Regional Victim Services (FRVS) is a community based organization working out of the RCMP Detachments of High River, Okotoks, Nanton and Turner Valley. We provide service within these centres and the surrounding rural region of the M.D. of Foothills. |
| Foothills Regional Victim Services (FRVS) is governed by a volunteer board consisting of representatives from the Foothill's community and the RCMP. Extensively trained volunteer Victim Advocates from the communities provide the front line support to victims. These volunteers have specialized training and security clearance through the RCMP; they continue to receive training throughout their service. They are led by a paid Coordinator and Assistant who maintain communications with the RCMP and other emergency responders who refer victims to Foothills Regional Victim Services. |
